Even before I could write, i would come up with stories that my mother wrote down for me, while I created the illustrations to go along with them.
Later, I started shooting short films with the family camera – the first step toward what is now my passion for visual storytelling and cinematography.
My Fine Arts studies deepened this creative path and sharpened my eye for artistic detail. While working on a cruise ship, I learned to adapt flexibly to changing situations, to work within an international team, and to stay focused even during long workdays. On set, I ultimately discovered my enthusiasm for working scenically and with camera movement, which motivated me to learn Steadicam in order to further develop my craft. My second-semester short film Echoes of Juno made it to the list of Oscar semifinalists.
